Mr. Jeffrey Pierce Herbin, son of the late Herman and Flossie Herbin was born in Guilford County on September 14, 1955. He departed this life Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after a long illness.
He was educated at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He was employed by Mitchel and Dixon truck line as a truck driver and warehouse supervisor until his health started failing.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mrs. Brenda B. Herbin; two daughters, Ms. Tasha Fewell and Ms. Tamitra Herbin (Samuel); one granddaughter, Tiana Adegbayega; one grandson, Ta’Jahis Johnson; one sister, Ms. Joyce H. Owens; two special nephews, Mr. Delmar Owens and Mr. Darryl Herbin (deceased); one special niece, Ms. Denise Jones; one brother-in-law, Mr. Edward Brown, Jr. (Gwen); two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Gaynelle Brown Terry (Felix) and Ms. Frances Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of Greensboro, North Carolina.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019, 12:00 pm, at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service, 2110 Veasley Street, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00 pm prior to the service.
