On Saturday, October 5, 2019, Lee Frank Hubler, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 66.
Lee was born on August 17, 1953 in Miami, FL, to Leroy and Patricia Hubler. He went to Miami Senior High, Class of ‘71. He was an honor student, played as a middle linebacker (#55 Leroy Boy) in football, captain of the defense, and President of the X-Club. On June 21, 1997, he married Jeanne Rae Kincaid. He had two children, Cassie and Kalisha from a previous marriage and raised his stepdaughter, Alysha like his own. Lee received his business management degree from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC in 2015.
Lee had such a passion for football, outdoor adventures and bird watching. He loved to ski during the winter and sail during the summer when they lived in Lake Tahoe, NV. He was known by so many for his ability to capture people’s attention through his kind words and stories of the “good ol’ days.” Lee was also known for his quick wit, his infectious personality and his vibrant and loving spirit. He has impacted so many people throughout his life and the fond memories and love are unwavering.
His father, Leroy, and his brother, Randy, preceded Lee in death. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, his three children, Cassie, Kalisha and Alysha, his brothers, Richard and Chris, his sister, Patti, his mother, Pat, his grandchildren, Gabriella, Trey and Camden, his goddaughter Brittany, along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on October 9th, 2019 at 11:30am at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church at 1225 Chestnut Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
