William (Will) Seth Paschal, 90, of Pleasant Garden, NC passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Clapp’s Nursing Center in Pleasant Garden, NC.
He was born on September 7, 1929 in Pleasant Garden. Will was the son of Seth Ward Paschal and Esther Hutchinson Paschal.
Mr. Paschal served in the United States Army with Battery B, 107th Field Artillery Battalion, 28th Infantry Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Will also served during the Korean War. He served from 1951 to 1952, where he was honorably discharged.
He retired from Duke Power in 1990 after 30 years. Will worked in the meter lab as a technician.
Will loved going to watch his friend, Al Miller’s Women’s Softball team, the Al’s Angels. He was their most avid fan, and never missed a game. He also enjoyed watching any type of sports on t.v., especially basketball games. His favorite teams were the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels. In the 1960’s, he completely rebuilt a 1934 Ford pickup truck, Will and his wife Sylvia had many good times traveling in it. Will also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Will is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sylvia Shore Paschal; his sons David Andrew (Drew) Paschal (Robin) of Pleasant Garden, and Reuben Jerome (Rome) Paschal of Pleasant Garden. His two grandchildren, Stephanie and Thad Paschal. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Dorothy Paschal Poplin and Virginia Paschal Pope, and by four brothers, Baxter Paschal, Carl Paschal, Earl Paschal, and Hubert Paschal.

Arrangements entrusted to Triad Cremation & Funeral Service of Greensboro, NC. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Gilmore Memorial Park with the Rev. Ben Hurley officiating. Full military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
