Angel Florencio Miguitama was born on June 17th, 1947 to Victor Miguitama and Rosa Maya of Ecuador. Angel was the first child in his family, and was followed by the birth of his siblings Mario, Lola, Juan, and Victor.
Angel met Martha F. Chavez in 1974 and they were married in 1978. After their marriage, Angel and Martha were blessed with their children Abel, Ana, Pablo, Angela, and Miguel. The family emigrated from Ecuador and moved to Long Island, New York in 1990, where they lived for 15 years, finally moving to High Point, North Carolina in 2005, where he and Martha would eventually retire.
In 2014, Angel began to face major health issues concerning his lungs, which led to a long six-year battle, but he did not fight alone. Throughout those six years, Angel would receive continuous help and love through his family, friends, and loving wife Martha.
In the morning of July 13th, 2020 Angel passed away unexpectedly. Through his faith in God, be believed in a better future that would happen during his years on Earth, or shortly afterwards. His faith allowed him to keep going, and his faith continues to sustain his family following his passing.
