Greensboro NC: God called home Bennie Beasley on Friday June 19th, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital, while surrounded by the ones who loved and cared for him.
Bennie Maurice Beasley was born on September 22nd, 1962, in Greensboro N.C. to the union of the late Henry Thomas Beasley and Ruby Hughes (Beasley). After attending Page High School, Bennie would go on to work for North Carolina A&T State University for over 14 years. Bennie better known as "Ballie" was a hardworking and caring man who would do anything for anyone. Before his health started to decline he was a Deacon at Bible Mission Church of 20 years.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 18 years, Amanda Crump-Beasley Greensboro, NC. Son Jarrell Farrish (Tanisha Graves) Burlington, NC; daughter Shinetta Farrish (Greg Graves) Burlington, NC; son Devonte "Mook" Beasley Greensboro, NC; son Justin "Baby Boy" Beasley (Sasha Woods) Greensboro, NC; Brother Kenny (Patricia) Beasley of Greensboro, NC; brother Dareck Beasley (Rhonda) of Greensboro, NC. Step-Daughter Shiree (Franklin) Stimpson Greensboro, NC; and Step-Son Devin Foust Greensboro, NC. Father-in- Law Bobby Crump, Mother- in -Law Shirley (James) Foust-Hughes and Sister-in-law Cassandra (Michael) Gladney, and a host of grandkids/step grandkids, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Nelson Beasley Hillsborough, N.C., Chris Beasley Greensboro, N.C, step-daughter Shimeka Crump, and step-granddaughter Angel Foust both of Greensboro, N.C.
Bennie's life touched many and that is a gift that no loss, sorrow, time or distance can ever take away. He will be missed by all.
