Brenda "BJ" (Tuggle) Johnson

Brenda  "BJ" Tuggle Johnson, 73, of Oak Ridge, NC, passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2023 at her home. 

Brenda is preceded in death by, her husband Ed Johnson, And her sister Joyce Tuggle Voss. 

Brenda is survived by Her Daughters Jennifer Johnson, and Tammy Voss Dotson (Doug), Son, Russell Johnson, Siblings Rodger Tuggle (Joyce), and Larry Tuggle (Becky), Grandchildren, Shanna Hollars (Caleb), Great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Zane Hollars. 

In Brenda's free time, there was hardly ever a day that you did not see her working in her beautiful yard or just being outside in general, that was her happy place! She loved her vacations to the beach and all the time she was able to spend there. She loved her family, friends, and church family as well. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church. Brenda was a fun-loving, full of life, never met a stranger, and extremely compassionate with a heart of gold. 

The family would like to thank Cone Health Cancer Center at Med Center in High Point and Dr. Ennever and his loving staff for taking such good care of our Mama. 

Also a special thanks to dear friends: Nancy Tuttle, Nancy Moreau, Cherie Johanson & the many loving members of Central Baptist Church. and not to forget our helping angels and friends Greg and Angela Medley and their son Coy, Katrina Dalton, and Kelly Helsabeck, along with our wonderful neighbors The Salazars'. As well as many more that can not be listed. We love you all.
