Charles "Allen" Pierce Sr.

1967 - 2021

Kernersville NC

OBITUARY Print

Charles “Allen” Pierce, Sr., 54, went peacefully to be with our Lord on July 8, 2021, at his home in Kernersville, NC after a long battle with an extended illness.

Allen was preceded in death by his father, JD Pierce, and is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Marshburn) Pierce and his wife of 23 years, Lorelei (Simmons) Pierce; his four adult children: Kayla Pierce, Charles Pierce, Jr., Colten Pierce, and Noelle (Gobrick) Jazdzewska; and six grandchildren:  Malina, Paige, Zaiden, Kessler, Jaxson and Aubree.

Family was very important to Allen, especially his children whom he held very close to his heart.   He truly loved spending time with family and friends even when his illness deprived him of the ability to travel.  Everyone who met Allen was impressed by his passion for all that he did – from his earliest days playing varsity football to his crazy level of attention to detail in his work.  Allen’s love for music was infectious to all those around him; he had a way of getting people excited about singing.  He had a beautiful soul and we all will miss him dearly.

A service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church located at 1077 Nine Mile Road, Richlands, NC at 7:00PM on Monday, July 12, 2021.  For those family and friends that are unable to travel to the coast for the ceremony, there will be a life celebration at the family home in Kernersville, NC at 6:00PM on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Because of his deep love and affection for his dogs, the family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Lorelei-
our very deepest sympathy at this time, I'm sorry Allen had to leave us at such a young age.  I'm sure he has finally been able to stop the pain he had been dealing with for so long.  He was a very kind person what little interaction we we're able to have with you and he.  We appreciate your sweet spirit and know you we're such a good wife and care taker for him, and so grateful we had the privilege to of known you both as a couple.  Huge hugs to you my dear!  We will pray for your comfort and for your future as you maneuver life at this most fragile time.  Love, David and Michelle Nicholas
