Obituary

Mr. Clarence Chavis, 81, of Greensboro, NC passed away in his home Saturday September 24, 2022. 

Born in Hoke county and residing in Greensboro, NC for over 50 years, Mr. Chavis was a truck driver for SAIA, Spartan and Merico before retiring. He was a loving, God-fearing, and devoted family man.  Mr. Chavis was a long time member of Pineland Street Full Gospel.  

He is survived by a son, Anthony Chavis and fiancé Evonna Carroll of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren, Ashley Chavis of Greensboro, NC; Jessalyn Chavis of Burlington, NC; Parris Chavis of Rural Hall, NC; Michael Chavis of Whitsett, NC; Karoline Chavis of Mebane, NC and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Chavis was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Chavis; son Clarence Chavis Jr. and son Michael Chavis. 

A service will be held at 1pm on October 8, 2022 at Pineland Street Full Gospel. 1028 Pineland Street Greensboro, NC 27407. Please send any flowers or arrangements to 1 Baliol Court, Greensboro, NC 27407.
