Obituary
Derek Darius Sacharzewski, age 53, of Mocksville passed away September 16, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.
He was born December 6, 1968, in Poland the son of Regina Lisowska and the late Jozef Sacharzewski.
Derek was hardworking, a self-taught musician who played guitar, spoke five languages, enjoyed the beach, and adored his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Ruth Sacharzewski, Esther Sacharzewski, and Naomi Sacharzewski; wife, Anne Sacharzewski; mother, Regina Lisowska; sister, Marzanna Nazarko and husband Jacek; niece, Weronika Nazarko; nephew, Dominik Nazarko and numerous other beloved family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, September 22, 2022, at St. Basil of Ostrog Orthodox Church, 270 Ogden School Road, Kernersville, NC. Burial will follow in Cornatzer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1244 Cornatzer Road, Mocksville, NC.
Triad Cremation and Funeral Service are assisting the family.
