Endre Frederick “Fred” Bogar, 81, a resident of Greensboro, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 in WhiteStone Care and Wellness Center.  Mr. Bogar was born to the late Frederick Paul Bogar and Theresa (Eressy) Bogar on April 25, 1939 in Worcester, MA.  He worked for the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 1994. Endre Frederick “Fred” Bogar, 81, a resident of Greensboro, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 in WhiteStone Care and Wellness Center.  Mr. Bogar was born to the late Frederick Paul Bogar and Theresa (Eressy) Bogar on April 25, 1939 in Worcester, MA.  He worked for the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 1994. Fred was a graduate of Yarmouth High School, Cape Cod, MA and then Stonehill College in North Easton, MA.  On April 8, 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Agnes Morin. Fred was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.  He was an avid motorcyclist and member of the Tarheel Travelers Motorcycle Club. He took many trips on his motorcycle throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  He especially loved riding in the Blue Ridge mountains. Fred was also a classic car enthusiast, He was a member of the Austin-Healey Club and helped organize the yearly British Car Days South event. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Bogar is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Agnes Bogar; four daughters,Annemarie Bogar, Betsy Fitzmaurice (John), Stephanie Harty (Guy), and Theresa Savastano (Lou); Grandchildren, Louis, Claire, and Emily; and his brother, Peter Bogar.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WhiteStone Care and Wellness Center, Attn: Holly Bernard, 700 S. Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27407.  Triad Cremation and Funeral Service is assisting the family.
