  In Loving Memory of  Guy Van Little Sr.

  Mr. Guy Van Little Sr, 62, passed on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at his home. Guy Van was born March 24, 1958 in High Point N.C to Jerry Little Jr. and Amanda Derrenie (People) Little.

  He obtains his GED through Job Corps where he received his certification also for Culinary Art and Food Service. He worked as a Chef for many years at High Point College before he became ill. His love and passion were in his cooking no matter what the occasion was, it brought joy and happiness to many hungry souls.

  He was preceded in death by his mother Amanda Derrenie (People) Little, brother Jerry Dean Little III, his grandparents Herman and Cynthia people, and Jerry Sr and Thelma Little.

   Left to cherish his memory are 2 daughters Andrea Little and Alexis Little, two sons Andre Little and Guy Van Little Jr, and eight grandchildren. Three sisters, Shelia Little, Sharon (Ronald) Allen of High Point N.C. and Shirley Sangare of Lexington N.C. Four brothers, Tommie Lee Little of California, James Little, Savoid Little, and Patrick Little all High Point N.C. and a great host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

                                                We all knew you fought a good fight and the road was not easy.

                                                We all knew your heart was full of love, and the love that you gave, came from GOD.

                                                We all knew that the world could not break you, and that’s why you held on as long as you did.

                                                We all knew it was time for you to go home now, that’s why GOD called you by your name.

                                                We all knew those who went before you, knew you was on the way.

                                                We all know you are at peace and you paid a price to be free, and for that we are going to miss you.
