Obituary
Janie Landreth, 86, of Efland, NC passed away on March 24 in Hillsborough, NC.
Janie Jessup Landreth was born in Pilot Mountain, NC to Burley and Nancy Jessup on May 2, 1936. She went to school at Sumner High School. She married Derwood Landreth on July 19, 1952, in South Carolina. She worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life. She and Derwood traveled enjoying the RV life for the past 20 years and saw 37 different states.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers- Reese and Rex Jessup, her sister- Linda Wall, and her twins Thomas and Tracy Landreth.
Janie is survived by her husband Derwood Landreth. Children Jerry and Jeanette Landreth, Teresa Coltrane, Joanne and Tim Laslo. Brother- Jimmy Jessup. Grandchildren- Matthew and Leslie Landreth, Katy Landreth and Stephanie Reese, Sarah and Horacio Saldana, Jennifer and Chris Massey, Christy and Jeremy Evje, Robert Dunlap, Mackenzie Dunlap. Great grandchildren- Tyler and Owen Landreth, Mahkayla, Nicholas, and Dakota Barnet, Sammy and Max Saldana, Ava Massey. And one Great-great Grandchild- Wesley Barnet.
Memorials may be given to Whitestone at 700 S Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407.
Services will be announced at a later date.
