Obituary
John Dewayne Scott, 75, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully in his home on March 29, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 5, 1947, to the late Cecil D. and Billie M. Scott.
John served in the United States Army from 1964 until 1967 during the Vietnam War. He was a great fisherman and loved to go to the beach. He enjoyed reading and watching TV, especially the Discover and History channel.
He is survived by his wife Lucy Martino Scott, his son Salvador Souto IV, and his sister Helen Coolidge.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his two sisters Cathy and Ann, and his brother Dean.
Family and friends are invited to the home of John and Lucy.
