Joseph Wilson “Joe” Hart, 69, passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the North Carolina Baptist Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born June 07, 19951 in Guilford County to the late Mary Ruth Sutton and Harvey Graves Hart.
Joe was a graduate of Ragsdale High School and attended Guilford Technical College. He served two years in the Navy as a radar and IFF OMA Technician. After returning from the Navy, Joe serviced copy writers and did many trade shows all around the country. Later in life he rekindled his love for motorcycles. Being on the open road with the wind in his face was most exhilarating for him. His favorite places to visit were the Blue Ridge Parkway and any beach with sand and water, however he was passionate about Virginia Beach because he loved seeing the ships come in. He loved to read and trade stock.
Joe was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Lovenia “Lou” Hart Smith. He survived by his wife, Tonya Tuttle Hart of Walnut Cove; daughter, Joanna Hart and husband, Noor Mahnood of Greensboro; son, Joseph Phillip Hart of Memphis, TN; sister, Betty Hart Royal and husband, Jimmy Royal; brother-in-law, Jerry Smith; niece, Lisa Royal McLennan; nephews, Tom Royal, Jerry Smith, Jr. and Jason Smith; close to him, step-grandchildren, Dycinn Bolen, Sara Bolen and Xzayvier Bolen; his best buddy, Waldo.
