Julian Van Johnson Green, 40, of Jamestown, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He was born on August 15, 1980 in High Point, the son of Timothy D. Green and Tina Johnson Lanier.
Julian graduated from Trinity High School Class of 1998. Following graduation, Julian worked in the furniture industry. In 2011 Julian married the love of his life, Nicole Johnson Green. They celebrated 10 years of marriage July 1, 2021. They were members of Landmark Baptist Church. Julian loved listening to music, enjoyed playing golf, loved nature, fishing, going to the mountains, walking around on nature trails, and even just working in the yard planting flowers and trees.
A celebration of Julian’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Park Place Baptist Church located at 201 Kern St. Thomasville, NC.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Rosie and Papaw Pope, of Archdale; grandparents, Theodore and Reba Green of Thomasville; uncle, Ricky Johnson of Archdale; stepfather, Randy Lanier; and father-in-law, Jack Cordle.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Johnson Green of Jamestown; son, Nathaniel James Green of Thomasville; mother, Tina Johnson Lanier of Archdale; father, Timothy D. Green of Thomasville; sister Megan Green-Parker of Archdale; brother, Paul Van Meel of Colorado; lifelong family friend, Marsha Frazier of Thomasville; grandfather, Bill Johnson of Charleston SC; aunt, Tracy Johnson of Archdale; aunt and uncle Dale and Sharon Johnson of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Oleen Freeman of Archdale; sister’s-in-law, Christy Harvey and Tammy Hawkins both of Jamestown; brother-in-law, Jeff Lewis and his wife Anissa Lewis of Trinity; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
