Obituary

Louie Jay Griffin, age 74, of Belews Creek, passed away while surrounded by loved ones on June 18, 2022. 

Born to late parents, Louie J. and Garnetta W. Griffin on November 16, 1947. Louie was an army veteran who served in The Vietnam War where he received a purple heart.  He had a good sense of humor and a soft spot for dogs and babies.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Walter Griffin. 

Left to mourn are his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and his best friend; Karen Griffin, Dale Avery and Grayson Hecht, Clifton and Eva Avery, Kari and Lyla Fortune, Lindsay Decker, Ronnie (Sandra) Griffin, Keith (Brenda) Griffin, Deborah Griffin and his faithful companion Bacon.
