Greensboro NC: Marion Elizabeth "Libby" Miller Lanier, 87, of Greensboro NC passed away at her residence on Tuesday March 30, 2021. Libby was a loving mother to Brian Lanier and Alison Lanier, Grandmother; to Carson Lanier Van Sycle and Spouse Katrina Summers Lanier, Great Grandmother; to Aubrey Jayne Lanier and Austin Jack Lanier, Sister; to Kermit Miller, Amelia Burnette, and Delores Miller. 

Libby was a nurturing Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and sister, who led a full life of laughter and love. She was a teacher in the public school systems for over 30 years. She had a passion for developing young children who were less privileged than most. Libby had a natural gift in elevating children's reading skills. When not educating you could find her volunteering at Houston, Texas Crisis Hotline & Family Service Center, where she worked with victims of abuse, or The Beginning Experience where they offered a support system for widows, people separated, or divorcees.
