Michael Dean Lynch, 65, of Greensboro, departed his earthly home and entered into eternity on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
A Guilford County native, Mike was born on December 16, 1955, the son of William Spencer “Spence” and Ruby Lynch. Mike was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 39 years, Linda Lynch, brother-in-laws Gary Wilson and Mark Eizenga. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, parents William Lynch and Ruby (Miller) Lynch; children, Amber Lynch, Christopher Lynch (Missy Thompson); four grandsons, Charlie, Nathan, Edward, and Archer; sisters Lynn Wilson and Vanessa Eizenga; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and his beloved dog Lexie.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his love of reading, being an avid fisherman, hunting, and the time he spent teaching those things to his children and grandchildren. He was a long-time member of Alamance Presbyterian Church. His sense of humor and laugh will be missed by all of those who knew him.
A celebration of life will is planned for Saturday, October 9th from 3 pm to 5 pm at Alamance Presbyterian Church in the Brown Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his grandsons: Charlie, Nathan, Edward, and Archer.
