He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael Honeycutt and his brother, Daryll Honeycutt. Marshall was a very loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Evelyn Honeycutt; his children, Leah Hill (Rob), Robbin Crutchfield, Anthony Cable (Beverly) and Melba Mills (Michael). He has 11 grandchildren: Eric, Brian, Megan, Kayla, Tony, Jenna, Rachel, Aaron, Kailey, James and Peyton. He also has 4 great grandchildren, Ruth, Kasyn, John and Noah. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherron Reynolds (Dean) and Debbie Middleton.

Marshall will be loved and remembered as a proud patriot and Coast Guard Veteran, Drummer, Golfer, Machinist, Chaplin, Mason and Shriner. He played the drums in the US Coast Guard Band and for the Shriners, played golf anytime he could, and loved everyone that he met. He had puppets and enjoyed seeing the faces of children light up as they came on stage.  He worked as a machinist at Strandberg and Loved the Lord with his heart first. He enjoyed camping and was proud when he was behind the wheel of the motorhome. He was honored to stand and cover his heart for the National Anthem. He always had a smile and kind words for any veteran that came his way, and he will be missed by so many souls that he had to leave behind.
