Tami, as she was known to all who loved her, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 28, 2023, at Beacon Place Hospice surrounded by her family.
Tami was born on July 22, 1958, in Greensboro to the late Jack and Linda Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her youngest daughter Jami Pendleton.
Tami was married for over 20 years to the love of her life, Keith Pendleton. Together, they had 4 children. She devoted her entire life to the care of their special needs son John. Tirelessly and patiently, she made sure that he was afforded every opportunity available him.
The most special people in Tami’s world were her grandchildren. “Tada” to those she adored the most, she really spent every spare moment she had making sure each and every one of her grandchildren knew exactly how special they were.
Left to carry her memory are her daughters Dana Bowman (Andy) of Winston Salem, Jessica Turner (Drew) of Virginia Beach and son Jonathan of the home, as well as her ex-husband and friend Keith Pendleton and his wife Stephanie whom Tami affectionately called her “wife in law”. She also leaves behind a devoted and loving sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Jim Ronsick, as well as those grandchildren she adored so much, Rebecca Meyers, Brandon Bowman, Madelyn Bowman, Jackson Bowman, Bane Turner, Eden Turner & Mason Copeland as well a host of loving nieces and nephews and her special friends Karen Patterson and Melissa Edwards.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Fresenisus Kidney Care Southwest and Beacon Place Hospice House for the compassion and care they showed Tami, as well as the amazing friends and family who supported her through her journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Autism Society of Greensboro in her name.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. The family also extends an invitation to friends and family to visit at the home 4341 Oak Glen Dr Winston Salem, NC 27107.
